HEATING SYSTEMS
Off-peak electric heating systems convert electricity into heat during 'off-peak' hours (usually at night). The stored heat is distributed later, as needed, to heat your home 24 hours a day.  These systems qualify for one of Todd-Wadena's low-cost off-peak heating electric rates - which are about half the regular electricity rate!

COOLING SYSTEMS
If you are installing a central air conditioning system, be sure it bears the EnergyStar® label. It will use less electricity to cool the building and if it has a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER) of 13 or higher, it may qualify for an EnergyStar® rebate from Todd-Wadena.
