Service Charge
The Service Charge is the portion of your payments that recovers some of the fixed costs for equipment such as lines, transformers, substations and meters that are necessary to bring electricity to your home or business. The residential monthly Service Charge is currently $18.50.

Power Cost Adjustment
A Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) is a direct pass-through of any charges or credits that Todd-Wadena receives in wholesale power costs. This adjustment allows for the fluctuations that occur in today's volatile energy market. The PCA is not applied to off-peak accounts. Effective 05/01/09, the PCA is $0.00.

The Energy Charge accounts for the cost of electricity - the kilowatt-hours.
