Unclaimed capital credits are used to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors. The total amount of available funds is divided equally among the nine schools in the co-op's service area, and Todd-Wadena then rounds up each share to the next $50 increment. In recent years, each school has received an average of $650. Schools choose their own recipients for their allocations - many use the Dollars for Scholars selection process.
To apply for the Todd-Wadena scholarships, students should speak with their school counselors.
